Founder, Director, & Lead Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Cara Wong, MClinNeuro, PhD, MAPS
Dr Cara Wong is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, experienced in assessing and diagnosing a broad range of neurodevelopmental and neurological conditions across the lifespan. Cara has a holistic and strengths-based approach to assessment. She is passionate about helping clients to discover, understand, and work with their unique brain profile.

Cara founded MINDS after observing the need for those in regional areas to access timely multidisciplinary assessment services. She is excited to bring together a caring and skilled team to offer best-practice, collaborative support for individuals with complex neurodevelopmental needs.

Co-Founder and Lead Psychiatrist
Dr Elizabeth Tovey, FRANZCP, MRCPsych (UK), MA, MBBS, BSc
Dr Liz Tovey is a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist and Specialist Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with over 16 years of specialist experience in diagnosing and treating people with a wide range of neurodiverse, psychiatric and behavioural presentations.
Liz is passionate about making a positive difference in people’s lives, and as a psychiatrist, she understands the importance of working collaboratively with families, education staff and healthcare professionals. From inception, she has worked with Cara and the MINDS team to deliver a service that strives to deliver excellence in assessment and clinical diagnosis.

Psychologist
Billy Gannon
Billy is a registered Psychologist with 15 years of experience working in a range of private and public roles, working mostly with teens and young adults.
As a late identified ADHDer, Billy is passionate about creating a space where everyone has the opportunity to develop self-compassion and acceptance of their unique set of attributes and skills. Billy is especially interested in supporting everyone to learn more about their identity, their needs and finding tools that work best for them.

Clinical Psychologist/Neuropsychology Registrar
Dr Gabrielle Ryan
Gabrielle is a registered Clinical Psychologist and has completed extensive undergraduate and postgraduate training in Psychology, including a Masters of Clinical Psychology, Masters of Clinical Neuropsychology, and an award-winning PhD at the University of NSW. She has experience across a range of neurodevelopmental, behavioural, and psychological conditions.

Gabrielle is passionate about increasing access to high quality services in regional areas. She aims to provide neuro-affirming, evidence-based practice and assessments to help individuals and families meet their goals.

Speech Pathologist
Erika Campbell
Erika is a Speech Pathologist with over 10 years of experience working with both children and adults. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Griffith University and has developed a broad skill set across a range of communication and swallowing needs.

Erika's approach is strengths-based and person-first. She focuses on building genuine connections with clients and families and empowering people with practical knowledge. Erika values neurodiversity and taking a neuro-affirming approach—recognising and respecting each individual's unique way of experiencing the world. She works closely with other professionals ensuring support is consistent and aligned, so that clients are supported in a way that reflects their goals and strengths.

Speech Pathologist
Taylor Blaine
Taylor is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who supports individuals across the lifespan. She has a particular interest in early speech and language development in young children, as well as supporting older adults with communication, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
Taylor brings a calm, thoughtful approach to her work, aiming to create a supportive space where individuals feel heard and understood. She tailors her sessions to each individual, drawing on evidence-based practice and working closely with families and other professionals to ensure consistent, collaborative support. Taylor values respectful, neuro-affirming care that reflects the strengths and goals of the people she supports.
